Falah is Taqwa Time’s companion that helps you track your 5 daily prayers. Your mission: check them off on time, every day. The more consistent you are, the brighter your lantern gets and the longer your streak grows.
How do I check off a prayer?
Open the Falah tab. As soon as a prayer has started (based on your city’s times), its tile becomes tappable. Tap it to check it off. You don’t need to wait for the next prayer: a prayer stays checkable until the Falah day ends.
Why is a prayer locked?
It hasn’t started yet. The countdown on the tile shows how much time is left. Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha each unlock at their own time, calculated for your city.
What is a streak?
It’s the number of days in a row you’ve checked off all 5 prayers. When all 5 are done, you gain +1 day at the end of the Falah day. If a prayer is missing at that moment, the streak resets to zero.
What is the lantern?
It represents your current day. It lights up a little more with each prayer you check off, and shines at full brightness when all 5 are done. In the calendar, it mainly shows whether your streak is still alive.
What time does a Falah day end?
Not necessarily at 00:00. The day closes at Islamic midnight (in the middle of the night, between Maghrib and Fajr). Depending on the season and your city, that can be a little before or after civil midnight. So you sometimes still have a few minutes after 00:00 to finish checking off your prayers.
What if I pray late?
You can still check off the prayer as long as the Falah day isn’t over. Falah may show a more serious message if the recommended window has passed, but the tile stays usable until the day closes. What matters: check everything off before that limit to keep your streak.
Can I uncheck a prayer I marked by mistake?
Yes, on the same day. As long as the Falah day is still going, another tap on a checked tile undoes the check. Once the day is closed, that’s no longer possible.
What happens if I change city?
Times are recalculated for the new city. If a prayer you had checked off hasn’t started there yet, the check is removed automatically. Your streak isn’t recalculated at that moment: only the current day’s tiles are adjusted.
What are “Your progress” and the calendar for?
The week strip shows, day by day, how far you went (from 0/5 to 5/5). “See more” opens the calendar: a complete day (5/5) is highlighted. It’s a visual history, not a ranking.
Does Falah work without internet?
It needs a connection to save your checks. Without a network, the screen will tell you and invite you to try again. A check is only really saved once it has been sent successfully.
Are my progress synced across several phones?
With an account (email, Google or Apple), yes: your prayers and streak follow your account. As a guest, everything stays tied to that device. If you reinstall the app in guest mode, that progress is lost.
What is guest mode?
You can start without creating an account. Your prayers for the day and your streak are saved, but they’re fragile: reinstalling, switching phones, or signing in to an existing account will lose that progress. To keep it, create an account from Falah: your wins are then tied to that account.
Managing my account
How do I create a Falah account?
In Falah, choose Let’s go! then Create your account. You can:
pick a username, an email address and a password;
or sign up with Google or Apple.
The username is how you appear in Falah. It isn’t used to sign in. Sign-in is by email, Google or Apple.
How do I sign in?
On Falah’s home screen, tap I already have an account. Enter your email and password, or use Google / Apple — the same method you used to sign up.
How do I go from guest to a real account without losing my streak?
From Falah (guest banner or Settings), choose Create an account. Your prayers and streak stay.
Careful: signing in to an existing account replaces guest mode. Guest progress is not merged with the other account.
How do I change my username?
Falah → Settings → Profile. Edit the field, then confirm (Return key or by leaving the field). If the name is taken or invalid, a message will tell you.
How do I change my email address?
Profile → Email field (email-created accounts only). A confirmation link is sent to the new address. The email only really changes when you open that link. Check your spam too. Google and Apple manage the address on their side: it can’t be changed in Falah.
How do I change my password?
Profile → Password. Enter the old one, the new one, then the confirmation. The new password must be at least 8 characters, and both entries must match.
I forgot my password.
Sign-in screen → Forgot password? Enter the account email. If an account exists for that address, you receive a reset link (check spam). For security, Falah doesn’t confirm whether the address is registered.
I can’t access my account.
Check:
email and password (the same error message in both cases, on purpose);
that you’re using the same method as when you signed up (email, Google or Apple);
your internet connection.
If you’ve tried too many times, wait a few minutes. Google/Apple account: sign back in with the same Google or Apple account, not another one.
An account already exists with this address.
This address (or this Google/Apple account) is already linked to a Falah account. Sign in instead of signing up again. You can’t link two Falah accounts to the same address.
How do I sign out?
Settings → Sign out. Your data stays on the account: you’ll find it again when you sign back in. This is not a deletion.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Settings → Profile → Delete account. You permanently lose the profile, prayer history, streak and username. The action is irreversible. Falah may ask you to confirm your identity (password, Google or Apple) to finish.
What if I think my data has been exposed?
Change your Falah password right away (or your Google/Apple password if you sign in that way). Make sure nobody else has access to your mailbox. You can also delete the account from Profile. To learn more about what Taqwa Time keeps: Privacy Policy.
